William Howard Mad
Everyone turned to look at Hill Park as her words left them all in shock.
Was it possible that Westfield's arrogance stems from his backing?
Jeremy was also his last name. Was he actually connected to the Jeremy family somehow?
Hillmountain's heart began to churn, but she brushed it from her mind.
How on earth could the worthless Westfield be related to the Jeremy family?
It is not possible at all!
She didn't believe it-and she didn't want to believe it!
"Westfield is indeed the Jeremy family's young master."
In the next moment, Hill Park's words settled like a divine proclamation. Everything fell into place.
In an instant, everyone's faces turned alarmingly pale, sweat trickling down their foreheads as their jaws fell in disbelief.
They stared at Hill Park, hoping to see a mocking expression as if she was lying!
However, Hill Park's expression remained unchanged. Even Redsprings, standing behind her, was the same.
It couldn't be that Redsprings was pranking them as well, could it?
Could it be...true?!
Westfield was the prestigious heir of Harborbrook's first family, an absolute noble!
Everyone's faces turned even paler than paper, filled with fear and disbelief.
How? Just how?
Hillmountain felt like she was going crazy. Westfield was clearly just a useless person, so how did he suddenly become the Jeremy family's young master?!
This couldn't be possible!
If that was really his identity, then how could he become the John family's son-in-law and treat her so obediently?
She didn't believe it, nor could she accept that it was true!
"Redsprings, make sure to sever all partnerships with the John family and investigate any illegal activities. I want to receive news of their disappearance from this world within ten minutes." Westfield instructed indifferently.
"Yes." Redsprings nodded respectfully, pulling out his phone to make arrangements.
Upon seeing Redsprings's actions, Keith Hughes couldn't help but interfere.
Whether Westfield is the heir of the Jeremys or not, he couldn't just stand by and watch the John family go bankrupt.
"Mr. Jeremy! It's all a misunderstanding, I swear!"
Keith Hughes quickly pleaded with Westfield, "We didn't arrive here until after getting Hillmountain's message. This disgusting woman, Hillmountain, was the one who planned to frame you. We have nothing to do with this! Go after Hillmountain if you want to punish someone and let out your rage! We, the John family, won't object even if you kill her!"
He begged desperately to Westfield.
"Yes, this has nothing to do with us. Hillmountain acted alone! Please spare our family and deal with her instead!"
People from the John family also pleaded one after another.
Not to mention the Jeremy family, even if Kenneth Scott suppresses them, they'd cease to exist!
Now, they can only shift all the blame onto Hillmountain.
"You bastards! You cowardly group of losers! Do Dylan still not get it?There's no way he's the Jeremy family's heir. Everything is fake and a show! Are you really begging him for forgiveness? You've brought the John family disgrace!" Hillmountain yelled out.
In Hillmountain's mind, three years of marriage had deeply ingrained the image of Westfield being a useless man. She would rather believe in ghosts than believe that Westfield could be the Jeremy family's heir.
It's simply impossible.
At this moment, the urgent sound of a phone ringing broke the silence.
Keith Hughes answered the call, and a man's anxious voice came through the phone.
"Zachary. bad news! All our business partners have severed ties with us!”
“The bank demands immediate repayment of the loan, otherwise they'll use all the company's assets as collateral."
"Most of the employees in the company are applying for resignation."
“Zachary,we're about to go bankrupt..."
When Keith Hughes answered the phone, everyone in the room instinctively fell silent. Everyone could clearly hear the call's contents,
Suddenly, the members of the John family had incredibly pale faces. Especially so for Hillmountain, whose mind went blank, the tension she had been holding onto completely snapping!
Redsprings had actually done it. Even if Westfield wasn't the Jeremy family's young master, it meant that he was truly part of the Jeremys! Otherwise, he wouldn't have made such a huge sacrifice!
Reality turned out to be the one thing she couldn't accept and the last thing she believed! She actually drove away and divorced the Jeremy family's heir!
She could've enjoyed living in unending luxury and magnificence. However, the John family was now bankrupt, and she was left with nothing.
"Mr. Jeremy, I beg you! Please spare our family! Please!"
Immediately, Keith Hughes knelt down, banging his head on the ground with blood flowing all over his face.
Seeing this, the rest of the John family also understood what was happening. They quickly followed suit, begging for mercy like Keith Hughes.
"Are you truly the Jeremy family's heir?" Hillmountain stared straight at Westfield, still somewhat unwilling to give up.
"Joe's face was cold.
"Your company's cooperation with Kenneth Scott was thanks to me.
Christiant incident where you arrogantly slapped the boss who asked you to accompany him with wine, and he wanted to disfigure you, I was also the one who discreetly settled that."
"It was all me thanks to me that you and the John family have been living luxuriously all these years. I just wanted to be by your side as a regular person at first, but you grew too arrogant and voracious. Do you have any further questions at this point?" Westfield stated icily.
After hearing his words, Hillmountain seemed to lose all her vitality. She slumped on the ground as tears streamed uncontrollably.
It turned out that all the prosperity she had once enjoyed had been given to her by her former husband, whom she had regarded as a loser.
All the fame and respect she desired, her luxurious life; she ruined it all by her own hands. She regretted it! She was unwilling!
"Westfield, I know you loved me, otherwise, you wouldn't have given up your status and endured so many years of mistreatment in the John family for me," Hillmountain desperately begged as she grasped
for his clothes. "Won't you please forgive me this time? I swear that I will love you unconditionally and live a happy life with you."
It would be better for her to die than to be left with nothing and be despised, especially to be stomped upon in this manner. She needed to win Westfield's forgiveness.
