Chapter 11: Chapter 11

Tristan Ashcroft leaned against the leather sofa, his slender fingers lightly tapping the armrest.

His gaze settled on Jenna Roland as the corner of his lips curved upward. "What did you do before this?"

"Worked as a salesgirl at a fruit shop," Jenna answered honestly.

"Oh?" Tristan raised an eyebrow. "So you're good with words?"

Jenna pressed her lips together in a small smile. "I manage."

He stood up, looking down at her. "Escort girls have to drink with clients. Can you handle that?"

"No problem," Jenna nodded.

"Good." A satisfied smirk tugged at his lips. "You start today."

Jenna hesitated for a moment. "What about the pay?"

"Base salary of two thousand, plus commission based on performance," Tristan said casually. "Four days off per month. Shifts run from six p.m. to two a.m."

Jenna did the math in her head. Stella made twenty thousand—clearly, the real money was in commissions.

"Understood." She took a deep breath. This was her first job, and she had to make it count.

Tristan gave her a tour of the club. The place was massive—a dance floor on the first level, private rooms on the second and third, and hotel suites on the fourth and fifth.

After the tour, he led her to the dressing room.

"Wear this for now," he tossed her a uniform. "Left behind by the last girl."

Just as Jenna finished changing, her phone buzzed.

A message from Stella: Where are you?

Dressing room.

Moments later, Stella pushed the door open, dressed in a JK uniform.

She burst out laughing at the sight of Jenna.

"What's so funny?" Jenna frowned.

"It suits you perfectly!" Stella playfully smacked her backside. "Innocent schoolgirl—men go crazy for this look!"

Jenna dodged her. "Stop touching me!"

"Just getting you used to it," Stella teased with a wicked grin. "Plenty more hands will want to grab you later."

Jenna paled.

"Relax, I'm kidding!" Stella laughed. "Come on, we've got a meeting."

At the front desk, all eight beverage promoters had gathered.

After introducing Jenna, Supervisor Patrick Klein reminded everyone to look out for her.

The meeting had barely ended when the first clients arrived.

Patrick assigned Stella to mentor Jenna.

On the way, Stella explained sales techniques in detail, and Jenna listened attentively.

Outside Room 201, Stella lightly knocked.

"Good evening, gentlemen!" She pushed the door open with a bright smile.

Four middle-aged men sat inside. Stella greeted them smoothly. "Mr. Chen, the usual or trying something new today?"

But Mr. Chen's eyes were glued to Jenna.

"New girl?"

"Yes," Stella introduced. "This is Jenna Roland. Jenna, meet Mr. Chen, Mr. Li, Mr. Wu, and Mr. Xu."

Jenna gave a slight bow, her voice sweet and clear. "Pleasure to meet you all. I hope to learn from you."

She knew exactly how to charm clients. Her sugary tone and innocent outfit instantly drew their attention.

Mr. Chen's smile widened. "How old are you, sweetheart?"

"Twenty-four." Jenna's eyes curved into crescents.

"Prime of youth," Mr. Chen remarked before turning to Stella. "Six bottles of '91 Lafite tonight. Split the commission between you two."

Stella's eyes lit up. "Right away, sir!"

In the hallway, Stella hugged Jenna and planted two excited kisses on her cheeks.

"Do you know how much Lafite costs?" she whispered. "Twelve thousand per bottle! Six bottles is seventy-two grand!"

Jenna's eyes widened. "That much?"

"Six thousand in commission—three grand each!" Stella beamed.

Jenna's heart raced. Money came too easily here.

"But you only made twenty last month?" she suddenly recalled.

Stella pouted. "Bad luck. No one ordered the expensive stuff."
