Jenna pulled out a chair and sat down, her gaze calm as she looked at Justin. "Mr. Kemnis, please eat."
"Thanks." Justin took the chopsticks without hesitation and picked up a piece of braised pork, popping it into his mouth.
After a few chews, his eyes lit up. "This is incredible, Ms. Roland! If you opened a restaurant, it'd be packed every day."
Jenna smiled faintly. "Just call me Jenna."
"Alright, Jenna." Justin set down his chopsticks. "Seriously, have you ever considered opening a place?"
She lowered her lashes. "I don't have the startup capital."
Her gaze flickered toward Ethan, who continued eating without expression.
Justin noticed and said breezily, "I could invest."
"Thank you, but no." She shook her head. "Too risky."
He didn't push. "The offer stands if you change your mind."
Internally, he studied the couple. Newlyweds, yet they acted like strangers.
After dinner, Jenna moved to clear the dishes when Ethan abruptly stood.
Justin's eyes widened as the CEO of HM Group efficiently stacked plates with practiced ease.
"Holy—" Justin blurted.
Ethan shot him an icy glare before carrying the dishes to the kitchen.
Jenna brought over freshly brewed tea. "Mr. Roscente, Mr. Kemnis, tea is served."
Justin finally couldn't hold back. "You always address each other so formally?"
"Is there a problem?" Jenna blinked in confusion.
Ethan's gaze turned glacial.
A chill ran down Justin's spine. He quickly changed the subject. "So... about your brother."
