Gavin's gaze sharpened like a blade. "You didn't offend him? You just publicly humiliated that woman!"
Lily froze as a memory flashed through her mind.
Her eyes widened. "That...that penniless woman I insulted?"
Gavin's lips curled in mockery. "Penniless? You called her white trash and wanted to put up a sign saying 'No beggars or dogs allowed' at the mall entrance. Lily, your mouth is truly vicious."
Her face turned ashen. "How...how could you..."
Gavin cut her off with a cold laugh. "I was there. You were just blind."
She trembled. "What's...her connection to you?"
He looked down at her with disdain. "You're not worthy of knowing. Today, you've messed with the wrong person."
Her legs gave out as she collapsed to her knees before Ethan. "Mr. Roscente! I didn't know she knew you! I was wrong! Please forgive me!"
Ethan glanced down, his icy gaze sweeping over her shaking form.
He turned to Tony. "Destroy this boutique."
Tony stumbled back. "Sir, this is..."
Gavin barked, "Do as he says!"
Sweat beaded on Tony's forehead as he summoned four bodyguards.
The sound of shattering glass filled the air as jewelry scattered across the floor.
Lily and the clerks huddled together, screaming.
The crowd gasped.
This was a multi-million dollar jewelry store!
Ethan's cold eyes swept over the phone-wielding onlookers. "Anyone who uploads footage will face consequences."
Every phone immediately lowered.
He turned back to Tony. "She covers the damages. This brand is permanently banned from my properties."
Lily collapsed. "Mr. Roscente! You can't do this!"
Suddenly, she lunged at him.
A dangerous glint flashed in Ethan's eyes as he kicked her away.
"Get out!"
She crashed to the floor, blood trickling from her lips.
The crowd recoiled with shocked murmurs.
Without another word, Ethan strode away.
He'd come to select a birthday gift for Grandma Blanche, only to witness Jenna being humiliated.
Now his mood was thoroughly ruined.
Gavin smirked and quickly followed.
