Chapter 331: Chapter 331

The setting sun painted the sky in hues of orange as Jenna Roland efficiently packed up the clothes from her street stall. She climbed onto her e-tricycle and headed home.

The tricycle glided smoothly through the Beverly Hills neighborhood, soon stopping at her apartment building.

Staring at the fully loaded vehicle, Jenna frowned. Leaving the clothes unattended outside was an open invitation for thieves. But hauling everything upstairs alone would be exhausting.

She pulled out her phone and dialed Ethan Roscente first.

"Still at work?" Hearing he wasn't home yet, she hung up without another word.

Next, she called Milo Roland. "Come downstairs. I need help."

Soon, Milo appeared at the entrance. He circled the tricycle. "What's up, sis?"

"Watch the cart while I carry these upstairs." Jenna wiped sweat from her forehead. "If no one guards them, these clothes will disappear in a blink."

"Let me help you." Milo pointed at the four large bags. "Two people can finish faster."

"No!" Jenna's refusal was firm. "The doctor said you need rest. Just stay here and keep watch. I'll handle it."

Gritting her teeth, she hoisted one bag onto her shoulder. The woven sack was stuffed to the brim, weighing heavily against her.

After four exhausting trips, Jenna finally transported all the clothes inside. She collapsed onto the couch, panting heavily.

Milo handed her a glass of water, his voice laced with concern. "Sis, maybe you should find an easier job. I can take on part-time work."

"Part-time jobs don't pay like running your own business." Jenna took a sip, her eyes brightening. "I made $1,500 today—over $900 in profit!"

"That much?" Milo's eyes widened in surprise.

"Yep. These clothes have low wholesale costs, and I sell them cheap." She counted on her fingers. "Tell me, could I earn $900 a day at some office job?"

After a thoughtful pause, Milo suddenly suggested, "What if I help you at the stall? I'm on break now. I can assist with customers and carrying stock."

"Perfect!" Jenna slapped her thigh. "That's light work you can definitely handle!"

As they spoke, the front door lock clicked. Ethan walked in, and Milo tactfully retreated to his room.
