Chapter 336: Chapter 336

Jenna hung the last piece of clothing on the rack and clapped her hands. "Thanks, Ethan."

"Don't mention it." Ethan stood nearby, his gaze sweeping over the neatly arranged stall.

Milo hopped onto the back of the e-tricycle effortlessly. Jenna started the vehicle and headed straight for Mall of America.

As soon as they arrived, Milo jumped off to help. The siblings worked in perfect sync, quickly displaying all the garments on the racks.

At exactly nine o'clock, the stall opened for business.

Tanya from the neighboring shoe stall wheeled her cart over, eyebrows lifting in surprise. "You're early today, Jenna."

"Yeah, Aunt Tanya." Jenna smiled at her.

After setting up her own stall, Tanya sat on a small stool to rest. She studied Milo curiously. "And who's this?"

"My brother Milo. He's still in high school." Jenna introduced them. "Milo, this is Aunt Tanya."

"Hello, ma'am." Milo greeted politely.

Tanya's eyes brightened. "You two look so alike. Both so handsome."

Jenna shook her head with a laugh. "Not at all."

"Oh please, standing together you look like celebrities." Tanya teased.

Milo's ears turned pink as he busied himself with arranging clothes.

Tanya suddenly lowered her voice. "By the way, it's Wednesday. The urban management officers will be making rounds. Be careful."

"Thanks for the warning." Jenna nodded.

Milo frowned at his sister. "They're coming today?"

"Every Wednesday and Friday." Jenna explained quietly.

Milo felt relieved he'd come along. His sister would've struggled alone if the officers showed up.

"They usually come in the afternoon. Keep an eye out." Tanya added.

Jenna nodded gratefully. Tanya's heads-up allowed her to prepare in advance.

......

At 2:30 PM, while Jenna was assisting a customer, Tanya's shout cut through the air: "Urban management! Run!"

Chaos erupted instantly. Vendors scrambled to pack up their goods.

Jenna and Milo worked swiftly, clearing their stall before the officers arrived. Seeing Tanya still struggling, Jenna immediately sent Milo to help.

"Go ahead, sis!" Milo called out.

Jenna sped away on the e-tricycle. Tanya and Milo threw shoes into the cart, not even pausing for thanks before pedaling off.

When the officers arrived, only Milo remained standing there. Since he wasn't a vendor, they couldn't do anything to him.

Several elderly vendors who moved too slowly got stopped, their goods confiscated, leaving them to pay fines at the enforcement office.

Once the coast was clear, Milo called Jenna. "Sis, it's safe to come back."

Five minutes later, Jenna and Tanya returned to their spots. As they set up again, complaints buzzed around them.

"We weren't even blocking the sidewalk! Why chase us off?"

"Exactly! Just trying to make an honest living here."

Tanya approached Jenna sincerely. "We owe you big time today."

Jenna waved it off. "Don't mention it."

"If you hadn't helped, I would've lost this entire shipment." Tanya said, still shaken.
