Chapter 416: Chapter 416

Victor Roland stood at the orchard gate, his face dark with rage. His burning glare locked onto Jenna Roland, fury radiating from his entire being.

"How did this orchard end up in your hands when it was clearly taken by Ethan Roscente?" he demanded through gritted teeth.

Jenna smirked dismissively, handing her lunchbox to her bodyguard Zachary Macmillan.

"Victor Roland, you dare ask me that?" Her voice was ice. "This was my parents' legacy. You stole it for years, and now it's rightfully returned. What gives you the right to question me?"

Veins bulged on Victor's forehead. His fists clenched until his knuckles cracked.

"Bullshit!" he roared. "You conspired with Ethan Roscente to scheme against me!"

Jason Roland and Sean Roland immediately chimed in.

"Exactly!" Jason jabbed a finger at Jenna's face. "A brat like you, resorting to dirty tricks!"

Jenna's sharp gaze swept over these so-called relatives.

"Uncle Jason. Uncle Sean." Her tone could freeze hell. "How much did Victor pay you to sell your dignity?"

Sean flushed with anger. "I'm your elder! Watch your tone!"

"Elder?" Jenna scoffed. "After my parents died, which one of you cared for Milo and me? Now you play the elder card?"

Whispers rippled through the gathered villagers.

"That orchard did belong to her parents..."

"Victor seized it for years. It's time it went back..."

Jason's bluster faltered visibly.

Jenna straightened, her voice ringing clear. "I never claimed a cent of the orchard's profits all these years—consider it repayment for his so-called 'charity.' But how did he repay me?"

Pain flickered in her eyes. "Beatings. Abuse. Treating me like a slave. Even trying to sell me off!"

The murmurs grew louder.

Victor, sensing the tide turning, barked, "Lies! That orchard belongs to me, or else—"

"Or else what?" Jenna met his glare unflinching. "Try selling me again?"

She addressed the crowd. "Let everyone here bear witness. Today, I declare—this orchard will never be stolen again!"

Victor trembled with impotent rage.

As Jenna turned to leave, she paused. "Oh, one more thing—I've hired a lawyer. We'll be suing for every penny of those stolen profits."

The statement detonated like a bomb.

Victor's face drained of all color.
