Chapter 60: Chapter 60

"Fine." Gavin didn't press further.

The private room was dimly lit. Miles leaned closer to Ethan and whispered, "I heard this place has escort girls?"

It was his first time at Studio 54, and he wasn't familiar with the rules.

Jenna was about to respond when Ethan's icy gaze cut through the air. "What? Can't drink without company?"

Miles stiffened, forcing an awkward chuckle. "Just making sure we're properly entertained."

Gavin scoffed. "We never involve outsiders when drinking."

"Forget it then." Miles turned to Jenna. "What premium wines do you have?"

Jenna smoothly listed several labels with their prices, detailing each wine's tasting notes.

Gavin raised an eyebrow. "You've done your homework."

She smiled faintly. "Some guests ask. I have to be prepared."

"Two bottles of Romanée-Conti." Miles waved his hand. "And bring some snacks and fruits."

Tonight was about currying favor with Ethan. He needed to keep the man satisfied.

Jenna gave a slight bow. "Right away, sir."

As she exited, her mind reeled.

Two bottles of Romanée-Conti? Miles was splurging.

Ethan was just a regular manager who usually ordered mid-range wines. Who knew he had such influential connections?

Passing the lounge, she spotted Milo glued to his phone game.

"Sis!" His eyes lit up. "Did you see Mr. Roscente?"

"Hosting him now." She ruffled his hair. "Hungry?"

"Nah, gaming."

"Call if you need me."

At the bar, Tristan intercepted her.

"You're handling VIP 999?"

"Yes. Mr. Roscente's party." She nodded. "They ordered two Romanée-Conti."

Tristan frowned. "Miles' doing?"

"Mm-hmm."

"Got it." His expression turned thoughtful. "Deliver promptly."

Miles was the fourth son of the Valentines, a startup founder desperate for resources. Clearly here to suck up to Ethan.

He watched Jenna's retreating figure, hesitating before looking away.

Soon, she returned with the wine and appetizers.
