Chapter 64: Chapter 64

The night deepened as Jenna Roland led her brother Milo out of the club's entrance.

A black Maybach idled by the curb. The tinted window rolled down, revealing Gavin Valentine's chiseled profile.

"Mr. Valentine?" Jenna halted mid-step.

Gavin adjusted his gold-rimmed glasses. "Mr. Roscente instructed me to drive you."

Her fingers tightened around her purse strap. "That's unnecessary. We were planning to grab dinner first."

"Get in." His tone brooked no argument. "I'll take you wherever you want."

After a brief hesitation, Jenna opened the door. Milo gaped at the luxurious interior, discreetly tugging his sister's sleeve.

Twenty minutes later, the car stopped outside a bustling street food stall.

"You can head back now, Mr. Valentine." Jenna forced politeness. "We'll call a cab—"

"Mr. Roscente's orders." Gavin cut her off. "I'll wait."

Inside the stall, raucous laughter and sizzling woks filled the air. Jenna's eyes sparkled as she placed their order.

"Guess how much we made tonight?" She leaned in conspiratorially.

Milo nibbled his chopsticks. "Five grand?"

"Higher."

"Eight?"

Jenna shook her head, holding up two fingers. "Fourteen thousand!"

"What?!" Milo nearly knocked over his soda.

Nearby diners turned to stare. He clapped a hand over his mouth.

"Landed some big clients today." Jenna whispered. "Mr. Roscente's table alone ordered two bottles of Louis XIII."

Milo's cheeks flushed with excitement. "Sis, you're a business prodigy!"

Suddenly, he grabbed her wrist. "What if... we used this money to start something small?"

Jenna's smile froze.
