Chapter 298: Chapter 299

Nathan let out a low whistle. "Seriously? She's that gifted? Sounds like a modern-day Mozart!"

Dominic sighed, his eyes clouded with nostalgia. "She was a prodigy in every artistic field. It's just tragic..."

Nathan leaned forward, intrigued. "What's tragic?"

"She married too young. That bastard husband of hers keeps mistresses openly. And she sacrificed all her passions for family obligations."

Nathan rolled his eyes. "Dom, buddy—the world's full of talented women. She's a married mom now. That ship has sailed. Time to find someone new."

Dominic's expression turned intense. "You're missing the point. The question isn't whether she's worthy of me—it's whether I'm worthy of her."

Nathan blinked in surprise. "Wait... You're telling me you've been carrying this torch all these years?"

Dominic's voice dropped to a whisper. "I used to think her happiness was enough, even if I wasn't part of it. But seeing how that monster treats her—how she's worse off than before marriage—I can't stay silent anymore. If he won't make her happy... maybe I should."

Nathan's jaw dropped. "Damn, Dom! Never took you for the white knight type! So what's the grand plan? You gonna sweep her off her feet?"

"Why shouldn't I?"

Nathan chuckled and clapped him on the back. "You know what? After all this time, you still feel this way. I say go for it—fight for what you want. You've got my support."

As Nathan and Dominic continued their intense discussion, Alexander tuned out. Victoria also stopped listening the moment she heard the woman was married with children. None of them connected Dominic's mysterious muse with Amy—not Nathan, not Alexander, certainly not Victoria.

To them, Amy was just another pretty face with no remarkable talents—hardly the artistic genius Dominic described.

Nathan's voice snapped Victoria back to reality.

"Now that Alex and Amy are divorced, I don't have to hold back anymore."

Alexander frowned. "What are you planning?"

"That bastard—he's been asking for it. He's the reason Victoria's been hospitalized multiple times. You've seen the damage."

Nathan knew that even divorced, Amy remained Liam's mother. Direct retaliation could breed resentment in the boy.

So he continued, "I'll have some guys vandalize his store. Nothing too serious—just property damage. As for Amy..."

"That pre-marriage apartment? It's under Prescott Holdings. We'll find legal grounds to evict her—make sure she can't return for at least eighteen months."

"Homeless and unemployed, she'll have no choice but to come crawling back to you."

Victoria interjected, "But Amy still has substantial assets. Even evicted, she could buy another place. Your plan might fail."

Nathan smirked, clearly pleased with his scheme. He'd considered every angle.

"We'll file fraud charges to freeze her accounts. Not just the divorce settlement—all her assets will be locked down."

Victoria eyed him skeptically. "You can't just invent charges. This could blow up in our faces."

Nathan's grin widened. "Remember when Amy made purchases using Margaret's name? Post-divorce, we'll accuse her of embezzlement—claim she was liquidating assets before the split. Better yet, we'll say she conspired with competitors, leaking Blackwood trade secrets."

He finished with the satisfied air of a chess player delivering checkmate.
