Chapter 372: Chapter 376

Sebastian turned to Amy. "Celeste, what do you want to do about those guys?"

"We could make things uncomfortable for their families—sabotage a few mergers, create some chaos. If you're determined to ruin them financially, that's achievable too."

Nathan scoffed, his tone dripping with mockery. "How disappointing. I thought Ms. Sinclair had more backbone. Turns out, she still needs a man to handle her problems?"

Amy shot him an icy glare. "Don't worry. Even without a man's help, I know how to fight my own battles."

She turned back to Sebastian.

"I have proof—DUI records, hit-and-run incidents, bar fights, harassment allegations. Everything. I just need you, Mr. Kingsley, to ensure nothing gets buried when I expose them. That's all."

The humiliation from the birthday party still burned in her chest. She wasn’t the type to let things slide. For weeks, she’d been quietly gathering dirt on those entitled brats, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

And now, finally, the time had come.

Sebastian’s gaze flickered thoughtfully between Alexander and Nathan. "Easy enough. No matter how untouchable some people think they are, justice always catches up."

Amy nodded, then looked down at Oliver. "Oliver, is there anything else you want?"

Oliver shook his head. "No, Amy. Let’s go home. I want your cookies."

A soft smile warmed her face. "Okay."

She took Oliver’s hand, and together they walked out of the office.

Sebastian followed, his usual lazy smirk in place, trailing behind them like a shadow.

As he passed Alexander, Sebastian paused. "You didn’t stand up for Celeste, so I will. From now on, I’ll handle everything that concerns her."

Alexander’s eyes darkened, his sharp gaze tracking Sebastian’s retreating figure. But Sebastian was already gone.

Watching Amy lead Oliver away, with Sebastian close behind, the three of them looked like a perfect family—an effortless harmony that spoke volumes.

The Blackwood estate glowed under the evening lights.

Margaret sat stiffly on the sofa, her expression pinched with displeasure as Alexander strode in, his presence radiating cold intensity. She frowned.

"The Blackwood Group was in a critical phase. I shielded you from Liam’s troubles for your own good. Besides, children fight all the time. It’s normal, isn’t it? Running to adults over every little issue—how will he ever learn resilience?"

Alexander’s voice was low and controlled. "Mom, Liam is five. The other kids are excluding him. You call that minor?"

Margaret remained unmoved, convinced of her righteousness.

"Those children at that elite academy? They’re irrelevant. Liam won’t be there long anyway. He doesn’t need friends. Frankly, being ignored might be a blessing."

Her parenting philosophy hadn’t changed since raising Alexander years ago.

Alexander knew challenging her deep-seated beliefs was futile.

After a beat, he pressed on. "At Liam’s birthday party, Nathan’s friends intentionally tripped Amy. Why did you tell me it was an accident? That she was being dramatic?"

He’d already spoken to Liam on the way home, hearing the full story firsthand.

Liam had been upstairs when he saw Nathan’s friends deliberately stick out a foot to trip Amy.
