Chapter 392: Chapter 397

Amy was lost in thought when Benjamin's voice snapped her back to reality.

"Why don't we attend the conference together?"

She blinked, startled, then nodded. "Alright."

Victoria's Studio

When Alexander arrived, he found Nathan comforting a tearful Victoria. "Don't worry, I'll find out who did this," Nathan vowed. Victoria remained silent, her head bowed as she wiped her eyes.

The moment Alexander stepped inside, Nathan looked up, relief flashing across his face. "Alex, look at this—someone's targeting Victoria! They vandalized her entire studio!"

Alexander didn’t need an explanation. The words splashed across the walls in violent red paint were impossible to ignore.

"Victoria is a homewrecker!"

"Victoria ruins marriages!"

"Cheating gold-digger!"

The accusations sprawled in jagged, furious strokes, turning the elegant studio into a grotesque nightmare. The acrid stench of fresh paint clung to the air, making Alexander’s stomach churn.

His expression darkened.

"Did you check the security footage?"

Nathan nodded grimly. "They disabled the studio cameras beforehand. The building’s main entrance caught four men in work clothes, faces covered, carrying paint cans."

Victoria lifted her head, her usually soft eyes now burning with rare anger.

"I don’t even know what I did to deserve this," she whispered, her voice trembling. "This is my career."

Nathan clenched his fists. "Who else would do this but Amy? She’s planning a concert too—she can’t stand seeing you succeed!"

Alexander remained calm. "I’ll have it investigated properly."

Nathan scoffed. "Come on, Alex. Victoria just returned to Solmaris. She has no enemies—except her."

His gaze turned accusing.

"Don’t tell me you’re defending Amy again?"

Alexander arched a brow. "When have I ever defended her?"

Nathan pressed on. "With your influence, you could’ve stopped her by now. But you haven’t. If that’s not favoritism, what is?"

Alexander’s expression remained unreadable. "You don’t accuse someone without proof. If you’re so sure, call the police. See if they arrest her based on your guess."

Nathan faltered but doubled down. "Even without proof, it’s obvious she’s behind this!"

Alexander turned to Victoria. "What do you think?"

Victoria’s lashes fluttered like fragile wings. "Whether Ms. Sinclair is responsible or not… it doesn’t change what happened. My studio is ruined. My concert preparations are delayed. Everything is falling apart."

She lowered her head, frustration shadowing her delicate features.
