Chapter 70: Chapter 70

Kai's pov.

I have to say I'm now one of the happiest guys alive! I just got my dream girl as a girlfriend too!

All day after we suggested it to her—after she walked in on us all shirtless—we had all been so worried we might have scared her away. But we also noticed how she leaned into our touch, and whenever we walked away from her, she would frown a little. It was truly adorable.

Now she said she wanted to try this with us, and we will all do everything in our power to make this work! We will all respect her; we all understand she may need time before taking things further, and we are more than okay with that.

As long as she is our baby girl!

I pulled her into a big hug and looked into her beautiful, sparkling ivy-purple eyes with a big smile on my face.

"Can I kiss you as well, love?" I asked her. She nodded back at me, and I didn't waste any time.

I gently pressed my lips to hers. With one arm around her waist and one behind her neck, she rested one hand on my chest and wrapped the other around my neck.

I felt like I was on cloud nine just holding her like this. Her lips were so soft, and the connection between us felt electric. I could have stayed in that moment forever, just savoring the taste and the closeness. We eventually pulled away just enough to catch our breath, though I didn't want to let her go.

I looked into her beautiful eyes and felt myself getting lost in them. I gave her one more quick peak on the lips before I saw Ezra walking up behind her, ready to take his turn.

He pulled her into a warm hug. "Tesoro, you just made my day. I was so worried you would reject us all!" he said, cupping her face tenderly.

"Can I kiss you?" he asked, and she nodded.

Watching my dream girl share a moment with another guy might have bothered me once, but these are my friends—brothers, really. I know all of us will do everything in our power to make her happy and feel loved every single day.

They eventually pulled apart to catch their breath, and then I saw Levi lifting Lia up, letting her sit straddled on the piano stool as he sat down.

"I think you just made four more guys the happiest they could ever be, amore!" he said, holding her waist as she held onto his neck.

"Amore, can I kiss you too?" he asked, looking so lovingly into her eyes. She chuckled and nodded. Wow, her chuckles are to die for.

As their kiss deepened, Levi pulled her a little closer. I could see the sheer happiness on her face, and the spark between them was undeniable. It made my own heart race just watching how much she was beginning to trust us.

Eventually, they pulled away and shared a sweet hug. She stayed there for a moment, resting her head on Levi's chest and looking at all of us with a big, radiant smile—a smile we all returned.

"So, now that I’ve given you an answer to that question, maybe we should continue figuring out what songs we will be singing?" she said ever so sweetly.

"You are right, love," I said, smiling as I got back into work mode. "We need to finalize the songs so we can get the instruments perfectly balanced. I think we should also have some of us do backup vocals on certain lyrics to get the best effect."

We spent a few more hours working on the setlist and the order of the songs. we practiced together, slowly adding the instrumental layers.

Then Riley came and told us it was dinner time, so we started to head down. Once we reached the dining room, everyone came rushing to hug Lia.

Declan ended up with Lia on his lap today for dinner. When the servants came out with the food, they all ended up standing lined up at the end of the table. We all looked at them questioningly, though the grownups didn't seem surprised.

"Miss Talia," one of them said. Lia looked over at them with a raised eyebrow and a smile.

"We would all like to apologize for our carelessness this morning during breakfast. We didn't realize Miranda had already prepared your meal. Since she is personally in charge of your food, it slipped our minds that you have severe allergies," the oldest servant said with a deeply apologetic look.

Talia stood up from Declan's lap and walked over to them.

"We are truly sorry from the bottom of our hearts. We never want to put you in harm's way," he said, bowing his head.

Talia gently put her hand on his cheek, guiding him to look up. She smiled at him and bowed her head in return, then gave him and the others a quick, appreciative hug.

After that, they all left with bright smiles on their faces. We could hear them whispering about how sweet and adorable she was, and how lucky they were to work for someone like her.

Lia went back to sit on Declan's lap and we continued with our dinner. After dinner, it was movie time. As always, there was a playful fight about who would have Lia on their lap.

We ended up watching three movies, and eventually, we could see Lia starting to get tired. Kayden walked over to her while she was sitting on Leon's lap.

"Babe, you look like you’re about to doze off. Do you want to go to bed?" we heard him whisper. She nodded with a yawn, making us all chuckle.

She reached her arms up for Kayden to carry her, and he didn't hesitate to lift her up. We all said goodnight to the rest of the family.

Her maids helped her get ready for bed while we hurried to get ready ourselves—a quick shower and into our sleeping shorts.

When we entered her bedroom again, her face turned a pretty shade of red, and her maids chuckled as they left.

We all settled into bed just like the night before. But not before we all shared some sweet, affectionate moments with Lia, enjoying the quiet happiness of finally being together before we all drifted off to sleep.
