Elise Scott was about to speak with Sophia when Amanda Mitchell arrived.

She was surrounded by a group of assistants.

Amanda immediately sneered at Elise. "What a small world. I can't believe we'd run into you here."

Elise was genuinely surprised to see Amanda involved in this.

Then she remembered. Solo Show could never attract current A-list celebrities.

They only had former stars whose popularity was fading.

Or actresses who were at best B-listers.

The designers were newcomers or even amateurs.

There was no real appeal for genuine stars here.

Naturally, Elise ignored both Sophia and Amanda.

There was nothing to say to them.

She was about to walk away when Amanda laughed scornfully.

"Elise Scott! Anyone can have self-respect, but be careful it doesn't turn into arrogance. Aren't you afraid of humiliating yourself in front of millions nationwide?!"

"Shouldn't you be more concerned about yourself, Ms. Mitchell?" Elise retorted. "I know Ethan Parker well enough to say he doesn't appreciate troublemakers."

Amanda's face darkened immediately.

How dare Elise threaten her with Ethan?

Elise continued as if she had just remembered something. "By the way, I had drinks with Mr. Parker himself during William's birthday. Perhaps he'll bring you along for dinner... if the opportunity arises."

With those words, Elise turned and left.

Amanda watched her, face pale with fury.

Was Elise mocking her?

Despite the official announcement, she and Ethan weren't really in a relationship!

The night everyone speculated about Ethan and Elizabeth, he had called Amanda at 3 AM.

He asked if she would date him.

If she agreed, he would announce it publicly at daybreak.

He admitted her reputation would plummet afterward.

It would more or less affect her career.

Still, Amanda agreed without hesitation.

The damage to her reputation was temporary.

But Ethan was the one she wanted for life!

Once she agreed, Ethan arrived at Mitchell Villa by 4 AM that same night.

He took several intimate photos of them together.

Then he told her to tweet the official announcement after he did.

Yet, Amanda never discovered the connection between Ethan and Elizabeth.

She felt something was going on between them.

And it had been for a while.

But once their possible relationship was revealed, Ethan was willing to cut ties with Elizabeth.

Even if it meant damaging his own reputation.

Amanda didn't pry.

Dating Ethan was enough for her.

She was confident that as long as she was with him, he would fall for her!

But a week after announcing their relationship, Ethan hadn't contacted her at all.

Whenever she texted or called, he said he was busy.

He was basically ignoring her.

She was already upset about that.

Elise's mention of it struck a nerve.

She would have strangled Elise if they weren't in public!

Elise even mentioned William...

Was she using him to intimidate her, especially since William and Ethan were close?!

Beside her, Sophia could feel Amanda's rage.

It had been a while since Elise had walked all over her.

But she was less volatile than Amanda.

She could endure it.

"Calm down, Amanda," she said. "This is still a competition. My sister will be eliminated soon since she's no professional."

"She's such a curse!" Amanda huffed disdainfully.

She told Sophia seriously, "You have to do your best, Sophia. My family has already paid the media for your publicity. Even more than they did for me. You're basically representing Mitchell Corp now."

Sophia certainly knew the Mitchells had paid heavily for her to win.

She had arranged it, after all.
