Sarah was momentarily stunned by Amy's words. She followed the direction of Amy's pointing finger and, sure enough, saw Ethan's familiar figure.

What was up with today?

Ethan,though her brother, was usually so engrossed in his career that he rarely bothered with her trivial matters.

Why did he suddenly think of picking her up today?

Amy, full of envy, tugged at Sarah's sleeve and said, "Oh my God, Sarah,Ethan is so-good to you! I heard that CEOs of big companies are always super busy, yet he still found time to pick you up!"

Sarah's vanity was instantly satisfied by Amy's praise, and a smug smile appeared on her lips. "Of course, Ethan dotes on me the most."

"Sarah, I'm so jealous of you. You're beautiful, come from a good family,and have such an amazing brother. I've never even sat in such a fancy car!"

Amy continued to flatter her, secretly hoping that Sarah's vanity would lead her to invite Amy for a ride. She planned to take some photos and post them on Facebook to make others envious.

Sure enough, Sarah noticed Amy's hopeful expression and said proudly,"Look at you, acting like you've never seen the world. I'll ask Ethan to give you a ride later."

With that, Sarah walked towards Ethan.

"Ethan, what brings you here today?" Sarah raised her voice on purpose,basking in the envious glances from her colleagues. She felt incredibly proud.

Usually, even though the family arranged for a driver to pick her up,Ethan always insisted on keeping a low profile, using a regular car. Today,however,she was finally in the spotlight.

Ethan frowned slightly when he saw her. "Why haven't you left yet?"

Sarah was taken aback, sensing Amy's puzzled gaze beside her. She felt a bit annoyed but hinted at Ethan to save her some face. "Ethan, what are you talking about? Aren't you here to pick me up?"

Before she could finish, Ethan ignored her and suddenly walked quickly towards the hospital entrance.

"Wendy,stop right there!"

Sarah turned at the sound and saw Ethan striding purposefully towards Wendly, blocking her path in just a few steps.

Sarah felt a moment of tension, filled with surprise and resentment.

Ethan,usually too busy to even show up in front of her, had finally appeared today, but it wasn't for her-it was for Wendy!

Furious,she glared at Amy and snapped, "What are you staring at? There's nothing to see! Ethan had something come up this time. I'll take you for a ride next time. When have I ever gone back on my word?"

Amy's mouth twitched slightly, secretly grumbling, but she quickly put on a fawning smile and agreed eagerly, "Of course, but I'm really curious,why is Ethan suddenly looking for Wendy? Didn't you say he hated her?"

Amy had been Sarah's sidekick since college and knew quite a bit about the Collins family.

Sarah's eyes flickered. Ethan must have caught Wendy cheating and was here to confront her.

That wretched woman would have to give up that muli-million-dollar mansion now.

If Sarah pleaded with Ethan, that house might just become hers.

Thinking of this, Sarah's lips curled into a cold smile, and she let out a short,contemptuous laugh. "Wendy's just a shameless flirt! Ethan must be here to settle the score with her!"

"What?" Amy was shocked. "I never would have guessed she was so despicable beneath that demure exterior. No wonder Ethan divorced her!"

Amy's words hit the mark for Sarah, making her feel much better.She couldn't help but laugh, "You should spread the word, let everyone in the hospital know her true colors!"

"No problem, leave it to me. I'll make sure her scandal is all over the place in no time!" Amy patted her chest, promising confidently.

Meanwhile, Wendy frowned,looking at the man who had suddenly blocked her path.

It was Ethan, the same man who had abandoned her yesterday.

Why was he here now, after being so heartless?

Even before their divorce, she couldn't figure out Ethan's thoughts. Now.post-divorce, he seemed even more like a madman.

Why was he blocking her way?

"Please move." Wendy looked at him coldly and distantly.

Ethan remained silent, his gaze fixed on her, as if trying to discern something.

They stared at each other for a few seconds before Ethan slowly moved closer.

Ethan, tall and imposing, towered over Wendy, his presence somewhat intimidating.

At this moment, dressed in a perfectly tailored suit, he stood before her,exuding an aura of anger and dominance, as if he wanted to devour her.

Wendy met his gaze fearlessly.

Their eyes locked, the tension in the air palpable.

After a while, Ethan broke the silence, gritting his teeth. "You were with Charles yesterday, weren't you? How could you be so cheap,even hooking up with Charles? Do you even know what kind of person he is?"

Wendy couldn't help but laugh at his words. "What Charles? I don't know what you're talking about! And who do you think you are? What right do you have to lecture me?"

Yesterday, Alexander had told her that all the videos and photos had been deleted.

As for Charles, he wouldn't dare to say a word, otherwise, getting beaten half to death would be the least of his problems.

As long as Wendy denied it, no one would know she was almost assaulted

by Charles yesterday.

Ethan was taken aback by her response. "You weren't at the Luminous Bay Hotel yesterday?"

"Are you drunk in broad daylight? First Charles,now the Luminous Bay Hotel. Are you out of your mind?" Wendy mocked calmly, then coldly walked past him, ready to leave.

Ethan stepped forward again, grabbing her arm.

"Let go." Wendy's tone was icy. "This is your final warning. We're divorced. Stop harassing me, or I'll call the police!"

"You!" Ethan's eyes flashed with anger, his fists clenching, veins bulging."You never used to talk to me like this."

Wendy found it absurd. She raised her chin, looking Ethan in the eye,and sneered, "Ethan, does your lover Lydia know you're here? Are you so greedy that you want multiple women at once?"

Ethan's eyes showed a complex emotion. His lips tightened, and he spoke hoarsely, "Don't forget, we're not officially divorced yet. Legally, you're still my wife. Don't you feel ashamed getting close to another man?"
