Harold spoke softly, knowing how tough things had been for Wendy over the years and not wanting to add to her stress.

Wendy felt a wave of gratitude, guessing that it was probably the leadership at Horizon Medical College who had asked Harold to call her.

Not wanting to make things difficult for Harold, she replied, "Alright.Professor Taylor. I'll head over right away."

In Chris' mind, no one else but the sharp-tongued Sarah would target Wendy like this.

Wendy's lips curved into a small smile.

Chris, this kid, was truly endearing.

Even with his blindness, he still cared so much about her.

She quickly stepped forward, holding Chris' trembling hand gently, "Don't worry, Chris. I'll handle it. You go take care of your own stuff."

Chris gripped Wendy's hand tightly, his brow furrowed with concern,"Wendy, I may be blind, but Eddy told me how awful those comments were. You can't face this alone. I want to be there with you."

Eddy beside him looked troubled and gently reminded him of an important test he needed to take.

Wendy felt warmth in her heart. She patted Chris' hand reassuringly."Chris, listen to me. Your health is the most important thing right now. Go for your test. I'll be fine. I have nothing to hide."

Chris was silent for a moment before reluctantly letting go, "Alright,Wendy. I'll go for my test, but if anything happens, you must contact me immediately. Don't try to handle it all by yourself."

Wendy watched as Eddy wheeled Chris away, sighing softly.

Though Alexander had asked her to help care for Chris, it felt more like Chris was the one comforting and healing her.

She hailed a cab and headed to Horizon Medical College.

Wendy opened the door to see several leaders of Horizon Medical College.including her mientor Harold.

There were plenty of empty seats around the table, but not a single chair was offered to her, so Wendy had to stand.

why you're here. Mrs. Collins came to the school today to get an explanation from you."

Wendy had good relationships with many of the teachers here from her student days, and some couldn't help but look at her with sympathy.

Marlon and the other leaders exchanged glances, feeling quite troubled.

They knew the photo was unconvincing, but they couldn't stand up to Juniper's bullying.

The assistant quickly connected the USB drive, and the projector displayed a video on the screen.

The footage was grainy, but Wendy's figure was clear, with a timestamp from last year.

In the video, Wendy was seen leaving a hotel with a man.

Wendy almost laughed out loud.

This footage was from the night she and Alexander left a bar.

Juniper had gone to great lengths, altering the video to change the date and location, removing Susan and Francis, and blurring Alexander's face,leaving only Wendy clearly visible.

From the exposed photo to this so-called surveillance video, Juniper's malicious intent was obvious.

She didn't dare not get Alexander involved, while trying to frame Wendy for infidelity.
