"Wherever I go, you gotta follow me, got it?" Chris wrapped his arm around her waist and swiped his card to get into the hotel.
Amelia quickly pushed his hand away and kept her distance, "Don't touch me, you might bump into someone you know."
Chris glared at her, "T'm not scared, what are you afraid of?"
Amelia snorted. "I'm afraid of being embarrassed."
"Ms. White? What a surprise. Why are you not out with Uncle Lucius?" A familiar voice chimed in from behind.
Amelia's mind buzzed, and when she turned around, she saw it was Stella.
What a small world.
"Go away." Before she could say anything, Chris had already stepped forward and glared at Stella.
Stella's face stiffened, "Did I say something wrong? Chris, you can have any girlfriend you want, why are you with this bitch? Aren't you afraid people will talk behind your back and ruin your reputation?"
Stella had been traveling abroad with Jared recently and didn't know what had happened back home.
"You go ahead, I'll handle this." Chris pushed Amelia into the hotel and then came back.
"Stella, mind your own business. This is my last warning." Chris's voice was icy and frightening.
Stella felt a cold shiver rise from the soles of her feet, standing there stiffly, not knowing what to do.
Amelia didn't ask any questions when Chris came back, quietly went to bed, and looked forward to the auction.
But the next day, an old friend of Chris visited and asked to meet him on a small island in Celestria.
"Then you should go," Amelia didn't ask any questions when getting the news.
Chris's business spanned many countries, so having a few friends was perfectly normal.
Chris's face clouded over, and he glared at her, "Cruel woman, you don't even ask where I'm going, whether it's safe or dangerous."
Amelia was taken aback and couldn't help but laugh, "Given your identity and numerous bodyguards, what could be unsafe?"
Chris ignored her, pulled a lady's handgun from his back, andI handed it to her, "Keep this for self-defense."
Amelia took it smoothly, "Alright."
She had learned a lot over the past few years, and hershooting skills were pretty good.
Chris was surprised, looking at her as ifshe were an alien, "When did you learn to shoot?"
"You should have investigated me, you know better than I do." Amelia skillfully loaded the bullets and aimed the gun at Chris's forehead, her
eyes flashing with murderous intent.
Chris raised an eyebrow and smiled,"Not bad."
"Tll leave all my bodyguards to protect you." Before leaving,he reminded her again, looking a bit worried.
"No need." Amelia said, "This hotel has a lot of bodyguards. If you leave more, it would only be redundant. You should take them with you."
She was also afraid he might get hurt. After all, she was counting on his body being intact to get his sperm.
After some discussion, they decided to split the bodyguards evenly, each taking four.
The auction was at 8 PM, and Chris left at 10 AM, indicating he would be back by 7 PM.
The hotel had hot springs, horseback riding, and golf. Amelia changed into riding gear, took a tour of the stables with the room service staff, had some desserts, and was about to head back after soaking.
She didn't expect to run into Stella again. To be precise, Stella came looking for her.
"What are you trying to do, seducing one man after another, treating the men of the Spencer family like your playthings?" Stella stood above the hot spring, glaring down at Amelia with pure hostility.
Amelía splashed some water on her arm and replied nonchalantly,"It's all because of you,"
Stella's face turned red with anger, "What does this have to do with me?"
"Exactly." Amelia said lazily, "What does it have to do with you?"
Stella was fuming. "You shameless bitch. I warn you, don't show up with my brother tonight, or I'll take pictures and show themn to Uncle Lucius. Then you'll be dead!"
Amelia looked at her with interest, "Oh, you can kill me? I'll belooking forward to it."
"You..." Stella was aImost driven mad with anger. Amelia was hard to deal with and shameless to the extreme.
"Miss Spencer, you should take care of yourself first. In a foreign country,if something happens, it won't be good." Amelia gave her a mocking look, got out of the hot spring from the other side, wrapped herself in a towel, and left.
Watching her carefree back, Stella's face turned livid.
"Bitch, who do you think you are!"
Stella deeply felt that staying in the same hotel with someone like Amelia was a disgrace.
But Jared had told her that there were at least eight well-trained bodyguards outside Amelia's room.
In other words, she had no chance to make a move.
Stella returned to her room, fuming, and Jared took out the evening gown he had prepared for her to try on.
Only then did Stella feel a bit better because Jared had prepared a dazzling diamond necklace for her, making her look stunning.
In other aspects, she was better than that bitch Amelia, and she wanted her face and body to be definitely superior, too.
As she admired herself in the mirror, the room suddenly went dark.
Stella was startled and heard shouting from outside.
Before she could react, a terrifying explosion sounded, and a scorching heat wave knocked her over.
In the darkness, the power of the bomb was immense, and the hallway.was filled with terrifying flames that could burn everything.
"Are you okay?" Jared quickly helped her up and took her to the bathroom,"Quick, take off your clothes."
With Jared's help, Stella took off the cumbersome evening gown, leaving herself in a camisole and shorts, but at this moment, she couldn't care about that.
Suddenly, anxious voices came from outside the room. The intruders were loudly searching for someone.
Stella happened to understand the language of this country and realized they were looking for a woman.
In a flash, Stella made a decision and shouted, "She's in room 103,hurry up!"
Room 103 was at the far end of the floor, Amelia's room. Despite not knowing who they were looking for, she wanted to divert the trouble to Amelia.
As soon as she finished speaking, someone shone a flashlight into the
room. Jared hid with her in the bedroom closet, holding their breath, narrowly escaping.
Jared was puzzled, "What are you doing?"
Stella leaned weakly against him, saying cautiously, "Don't blame me,Jared,I'm just afraid we'll get caught up in this."
As soon as the incident happened. Amelia opened the door to let the bodyguards in. The hallway was engulfed in flames, and two of them were burned, in bad shape.
They were outnumbered, and the enemies were too many, so a direct confrontation was not wise.
At that moment, Amelia heard a familiar shout, and Stella's face flashed in her mind.
