Chapter 89: Chapter 89

The next moment, Amelia and the bodyguards hear the frantic footsteps of those desperados charging at them.

"Shit!" Amelia muttered, not giving a damn about Stella anymore. In a panic, she shot the balcony glass and yelled, "Let's jump from here!"

There was a swimming pool below, and jumping into it wouldn't hurt them.

"After you!" Amelia ordered the bodyguards.

"No way, Ms. White goes first," the head bodyguard insisted urgently.

Amelia didn't want to waste any more time. Without thinking, she climbed over the railing and jumped from the third floor.

As she leaped, a stray bullet grazed her shoulder, and blood started to flow.

Luckily, the wound wasn't deep; the bullet had just skimmed her skin.

The pool wasn't deep, but it was enough to break her fall.

Ignoring the pain from hitting the water, Amelia quickly climbed out and saw thick smoke everywhere and people running around in a panic.

To avoid the crazed crowd, she ran wildly and got separated from the bodyguards.

She was freaking out and terrified.

Amelia didn't care about anything else and planned to find a corner to hide in until the bodyguards found her. But then, she heard a familiar cry.

"Help, help! I'm not the one you're looking for, let me go! The person you're looking for is in room 103!" It was Stella.

She was being dragged down from upstairs by a man in black, her hair a mess. The guy was rough and strong, trying to force her into a black SUV.

Wasn't she with a man? How did she get caught?

Amelia got it instantly. Stella must have tried to pull something, but it backfired, and she got caught herself.

It was karma at its finest.

But if Stella fell into their hands, it wouldn't end well for her.

These terrorists had no morals, no pity for women, and didn't even see captives as human.

To them, Stella was just a trophy, a damn good one.

Plus, she was a very beautiful woman. Here, women were like guns and ammo, just resources to be traded.

If they captured her, she'd either die or suffer physical torture and various humiliations before being sold off to squeeze out her remaining value.

Amelia watched as Stella was about to be forced into the car, her expression complex and her heart racing.

If Stella died in such a horrible way and she had the chance to save her but didn't, her conscience would eat her alive.

She decided to save Stella.

Gritting her teeth, she pulled out her gun and shot the man in the back.

It wasn't her first time shooting. The first time was when Lucius took her to the shooting range, and she had to mentally prepare herself for a long time.

The bullet hit the guy's shoulder, making him scream in pain.

Amelia was thrilled; she had hit him!

But there was no time to celebrate. She quickly moved and hid behind the car.

At that moment, another man in black noticed Stella, his face lighting up with excitement.

He completely ignored his injured buddy and dragged Stella into the car.

Stella was in total despair, tears streaming down her face as she kept crying for help, but no one paid her any mind.

She deeply regretted it. She should've stayed in the room. In the chaos, she thought she could kill Amelia.

Ignoring Jared's advice, she had just stepped out when a stray bullet pierced her calf, causing blood to gush out. She had no chance to escape.

Now she had just escaped from one terrorist only to be caught by another. The man in black saw her and excitedly shouted that he had found a woman and wanted to enjoy her immediately.

No matter how much she struggled and screamed, it was useless, only adding to her pain.

The man in black overpowered her, and with blood flowing from her,she was close to death.

"Get off me! I'm not the one you're looking for! Get away!" The more she struggled, the more thrilled the man in black became. Suddenly, his hand touched her waist and tore off her clothes.

Stella felt a chill and was terrified, tears streaming down her face. At this moment, a gunshot rang out.

The smile on the man's face froze, and a spray of blood blossomed from his forehead.

Blood splattered all over Stella, the smell of iron filling the air.

Stella trembled in fear, tears streaming uncontrollably. Her heart pounded wildly, as if it would burst from her chest.

At that moment, she was filled with gratitude for the person who saved her. She even thought that no matter what the person asked for in return.she would give it, even if it meant all her money.

"Hey, are you okay? Can you get up?" Suddenly, a familiar voice sounded.

Stellalooked into a pair of cold eyes. It was Amelia.

How was she here? Why did she save her?

Stella stared at Amelia in shock, thinking she was dreaming, a nightmare.

"What are you idling for? Come with me!" Amelia shouted.

After experiencing all this horror, Amelia had forgotten to fear.

Stella, pale and trembling, tried to get up but fell to the ground. Amelia helped her up and noticed her leg was injured.

"I'll support you. Let's hide first," Amelia said coldly.

Looking at Amelia's calm face, Stella still seemed to be dreaming.

"Watch out!" As she was in a daze, Amelia suddenly pushed her, making her dodge a bullet.

Stella was scared out of her wits.

"You..." Her lips trembled, "Why did you save me?"

"Cut the crap and move." Amelia said, pulling her towards the stairwell.

Stella's leg throbbed with pain, blood flowing, but she had to grit her teeth and endure it.

Suddenly, she saw a gun pointed at Amelia's unprotected back.

In that moment. many thoughts flashed through Stella's mind. If Amelia died, it would be great.

Her brother's reputation would be cleared, and no one would laugh at the Spencer family anymore.

It was a huge temptation! Stella's blood boiled.

But this bitch had just saved her life. Stella's expression was extremely complex. Why did the person she looked down on the most have such magnanimity to save her life? While she could only use twisted thoughts to push the other towards death.

"Watch out!" Stella shouted as she pushed Amelia aside. The bullet hit her shoulder, causing a spray of blood and leaving a gaping wound.
